Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Python Backend Engineer to join our growing Data & AI Platform Engineering team. You will contribute to building scalable, secure and maintainable backend services and APIs within the Data & AI platform.
Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
Design and develop robust REST APIs with FastAPI.
Contribute to scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions.
Work on data-related engineering challenges within the Data & AI platform.
Contribute to areas such as Data Governance and Metadata Management.
Requirements
4–8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI and REST APIs.
Experience developing scalable, secure and maintainable backend services.
Understanding of Data Engineering.
Experience with Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management or Data Catalog solutions is preferred.

Start / Onboarding
In order to get started, an onboarding procedure is initiated in which formalities are completed. This includes submitting personal details, passport and, if necessary, Chamber of Commerce registration in order to draw up a contract. In some cases, screening by an external agency commissioned by the client may be required. Once this has been completed, the assignment can begin!
